This is why citizens need to be able to carry. Criminals need to know that if they commit violent crimes or threaten deadly force, there is a risk they can be killed. The risk of getting shot by a legally carrying citizen is a bigger deterrent then getting apprehended and let out on cheap or no bond in a few hours. The consequences need to be dire.

God bless Texas! Where citizens can defend themselves from people trying to rob them for their hard earned money.

    Me neither ..
I watched some news casts of reporters (probably those that voted for and think Biden is doing an amazing job) trying to paint a picture saying he took a “couple bucks” and was leaving and mentioning it as a fake gun when come on, who knows ? …for one thing unless it’s one dollar bills and you know that fact why characterize it as that ? …for all we know he may have had the intention of turning around before exiting and eliminating witnesses

    nope didn’t see a thing

Something about conservatives and a very child like view on morality and ability to judge humans as pure evil or pure good.

How many times in the US has a petty theif on their way out starts murdering people? Thiefs take the path of least resistance. They want to be improved and forgotten as soon as possible. Hence why the vast majority of home invasions occur when the occupants aren't at home.

And robbers also know that the moment a petty theft turns into a homicide case or attempted murder case, ant thoughts of "bail" is out the window.

I don't know what fake news media sources you read but people aren't released on nail for attempted murder. The stories you read are some random who is in jail for petty theft getting bail and then commiting a violent crime. No one is getting bail for abject murder.

You nailed it. ‘Conservatives’ aren’t dynamic thinkers. They want one option, spelled out for them (told what to do) and for nothing to ever change, ever. That is basic personality for the GOP.

Anyway, guy in the video is a hero. And if you shoot someone you make sure they’re down.

@tinman you’re also a hero for not posting the story wrapped in a long boring opinion piece by some YouTube hack.

Lesson learned - don't be fake tough.

Shooter has to stay at the scene, though.

If you choose to shoot in that situation, it seems there is no option but to kill. Unless there was reason to believe the robber was going to shoot, I wouldn’t risk that. Easily can make a mistake or not achieve the kill and endanger everyone.

    I agree.

But, I do believe in this situation, the customer executed (sorry for the pun) to perfection. He shot when there was no one else in the line of fire. The robber had no idea he was packing. The customer wasn't going to miss from where he was seated.

Granted, I am no expert at all and would never claim to be.

That being said, as I stated, you can't leave the scene. Not sure, but I wonder if that action alone could get him arrested. Ala leaving the scene of an accident...

Unfortunately this is a common occurence in spanish businesses. I know of a small ice cream near some ghetto apartments on veterans. They do this on a daily basis knowing police wont investigate or catch them. Snatch customer phones of there hands and demand wallets like this while theyre eating ice creams with the family.

It's Brazil down here. They won't let this slide in the Woodlands

He is not obligated to stay - defended his life - hey Ho done gone - Some moronic people may say well how many times does it happen that someone will kill you after robbing you with a firearm ? well guess what it does happen... I can pull up numerous examples from a Uber driver to a convenience store clerk ..If it's me I'm not taking the chance- glad the criminal is gone - leave the hero be
@fchowd0311 play stupid games and that's what you get - You try robbing me that same way I guarantee you are being taken out ..sorry

Which one was it? I grew up in Spring Branch. Been drinking margaritas at those taquerias since I was 16.

Also, you shoot someone in the back like that, you're a brave man because there could/will be legal issues that will surely cost you more money (unless you're Ed Reid) than what you lost that night - unless you get donations for legal defense via PR or have firearm legal insurance.

If I got robbed that night and a customer shot the robber I'd probably be happy BUT if I had the gun I wouldn't have shot in that situation. Too much to lose.
