Paramount Pictures has premiered the official teaser trailer for “Scream VI” ahead of the film’s release in cinemas on March 10th.

Following the latest Ghostface killings in this year’s “Scream,” the four survivors leave Woodsboro behind and start a fresh chapter in New York City.

The new entry sees the return of Melissa Barrera, Jasmin Savoy Brown, Mason Gooding, Jenna Ortega, Hayden Panettiere and Courteney Cox and are joined by Jack Champion, Henry Czerny, Liana Liberato, Dermot Mulroney, Devyn Nekoda, Tony Revolori, Josh Segarra, and Samara Weaving.

Radio Silence’s Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett direct the project.

    Won't be the same without
    David Arquette playing Dewey.

    Good scene.

Considering the last few years, it makes perfect sense to play upon our collective fears of crowded and confined spaces, plus that sense of helplessness when death/danger is staring us in the face.

I think the last one I saw was 2 or 3.

Worth it to watch the rest?

Hard to run away from the villain with a walker. I guess it’s good defensively, though.

They're all sort of the same movie. But the last one (I believe it was V) was much better than I expected.

I guess to answer your question, I would just skip ahead to the last one.

I think it was nostalgia that made me actually go to the theater to see this

    it started off ok

the Bodega scene at the beginning was cool…the subway scene later on in the movie was cool

this movie skydived off a plane with no parachute once everything got revealed tho

oh, and the trope of not finishing off your attacker was in full effect throughout the entire movie

Can’t shoot your target from point blank range because your aim is ass and you’re basically Daishen Nix with the glock? Check

Someone saving u from the killer by doing something dumb like hitting them from behind with an object and then making a run for it instead of bashing their brain in and ending the threat? Check

    Overall - 5/10

I’d watch the 1st half again as background noise if nothing else was on TV
