I know everyone hates to see our team lose but at the end of the day getting a potential generational talent, like Wemby is billed to be, would be our most important personnel addition since Harden was traded to Houston.

If we get Wemby, I can see that he plays the 3 spot on offense. He is a taller version of Kevin Durant, which is scary!

I don't know how good he is on defense. I assume that he can be the rim protector we need. He probably will have strength problem banging down low like Jabari does.

Wemby look good but some people think he is another Chet Holmgren or Bol Bol. I remember nobody wanted Chet from the Rockets and Bol Bol always getting traded. Here what Bancheros think about Wemby:

Everyone talks about the Victor dude from France. I’m not trying to compare them, but Bol’s 7-foot-2, shoots threes, brings it up the court, makes passes, and blocks shots. I feel like people kind of forget about him, but Bol’s a freak of nature.” - Paolo Banchero, HoopsHype

    Who is saying this?

For what it's worth I didn't want Chet, I was intrigued by Bol Bol as a project, but believe Wemby is the best prospect since Lebron and has no limit on his ceiling non-injury related. I know, I'm just a nobody on a site, so I'm not implying my opinion holds any credible weight.

I don't see why we need Wemby when we have Bruno and Usman.

Bol Bol is okay, but he's like a homeless version of Wemby.

I agree…I wouldn’t be surprised if they win 35% of their games in the 2nd half of the season.

I see no reason why Wemby and Sengun cannot play together. Their games are complementary.

The Paradox, can we get Wemby with a serviceable enough record?
