I always said this team will only be winning by using the 40m cap from John Wall to bring one veteran point guard + 2-3 rotation veterans . But I meant inadvertently because I really think the team and the players did not believe to be so bad like they are right now.
I agree! This team is like when you decapitate a chicken & the body runs around with no mind or direction! So frustrating & I have been a fan of the Roxs since 1981. Thank goodness for the Astros!! The Texans & Rockets are just maddening. lol

The Lakers haven’t had the number one pick since 1982 (Worthy). I thought that was interesting. Won plenty of rings without it. They had 3 number 2 picks in the last 6 years. Thought that was interesting.
Wanted the team to improve the record this year, but with Brooklyn being terrible and possibly doubling our odds I might hop aboard this year. We'll see what happens

What's even more interesting (rigged) about that Worthy pick is they had a young Magic and like 3 time MVP (at least) in Jabbar and were just a couple yrs removed from winning the ship The Lakers also cashed in those other high picks for AD and got a bubble ring for it, Lakers are well taken care of by the league since the West days even though he only won 1 they went to like 9/10 Finals in that era, same number of the Magic led era
