    But that should not have been a HR. A triple at worst if Acuna helps out.

    EDIT: Although the next hitter had a deep fly ball, so the run would've scored regardless.

    If Atlanta, LA and New York all get bounced before the championship series, I have to think the league will look more closely at this new wild card format. Personally, I'm a fan, as I never thought the one-game do or die idea ever really fit for a sport with a 162-game regular season. Nor did the 16-team format in 2020.

    One season is still a really small sample size, and I'm sure teams will learn from this, but even the Astros struggled more with the Mariners than I think many of us expected. The layoff from the bye may just be more of a detriment than originally thought.
