    I'm thinking it might actually be OP given that he's a 43-year-old man starting a thread to call out another poster after he's been here all of 10 seconds and has a whopping 50 posts. We're all Rockets/Astros fans here. Act like an adult and play nice with others or just ignore them if you don't like them. But this is just pathetic.

    No way should u considered putting someone on ignore if u only been here since tuesday.

    That's like deciding to hate someone based of solely on first impressions.

    Unless Yolo personally attack u and insulted your manhood or something, I can see how u might get irked since u are a newbie.

    Folks have different posting styles. I don't think Yolo is an a$$hole or even a condescending one, but if i recall he does have aggressive moments.

    Anyone have context for this thread?

    No, but it should impact how you interact with the board. Maybe watch a bit and notice things like: 1) on this particular forum the preference is for longer threads that stay "sticky" vs. starting a new one for every thought, 2) there is a strong culture of keeping it about sports and not personal, 3) most people use good grammar, spacing, punctuation, etc.

    It is a mature board, and perhaps spending more than 3 days on it before starting a thread with no context, blurred out curses, and no relation to the Astros would help you not have the type of reaction you are seeing.
