Still crazy to me that in 2 drafts they've got 4 SOLID starters with star potential. If this is not the starting lineup by the break, it'll be clear they're intentionally tanking. KPJ JG Tari Bari ALP
Definitely has more arc than in summer league, good improvement on that and should bring more consistency.
Jabari would have to hit a little less than 2.3 3-pointers a game at a 82 game pace to break Donovan Mitchell's record of 187. Green had 157 last year for 11th most ever by a rookie. Green was on a pace to hit 191 if he had played 82 games. Is this possible??
Well he hit 2.3 per game at Auburn, sooo It's a long season and he'll lose his legs at various points. He currently has 0 NBA 3s, and while I am sure he gets plenty of opportunities, Mitchell's numbers were impressive and will be tough to beat.
Love this interview. "It's not about my skills" Ummm. Giannis your a freak. Of course it's about your skills. LOL. Obviously he's obsessed, but those skills though...
in hindsight it makes perfect sense that Jabari will look better in pre-season than summer league. I think he will always struggle to be a #1 option and the focal point of an offense.. but as your #2 or #3 guy he is deadly. his gravity will help everyone else on the floor tremendously and if anyone else gets hot this offense will be borderline unstoppable. jabari has never played with the playmakers or shot makers like this before that will open looks for him. i may be in the minority, but i think any lineup with him + eric gordon is going to have a bonkers offensive rating from just the sheer spacing they will provide. it even will open up looks for Sengun because you will not be allowed to have 2 bodies in the paint when you have 3pt threats like Gordon and Smith. this is one of the major reasons golden state can afford to play players like Looney + Draymond at the same time.
