    Why weren't you upset that Yordan batted at all? After all, he may have hit a double or triple and had to run the bases.

    This is a middle of the pack offense in the league/ nothing special, needs the pitching to be elite to win most of the time. It is what it is

    Most “elite” teams are that because of their pitching. I do agree that our offense is mind blowingly inconsistent. Yet we did win 100+ games. So I like our chances in the playoffs. Our pitching SHOULD take us to the WS. Once there, if the bats get hot we will win. The last 2 times the bats were cold. We are due.

    3rd in the AL for runs scored. 8th in MLB. Neither of which is middle of the pack. I'm not saying they're special because it's not. But it's a playoff proven team with an amazing pitching staff. There's really no reason to be down on any of it.
