@Clutch is there an option for the forum for us to buy awards (with real money) to award posts? I am thinking of what Reddit offers and there are definitely posts that I want to give a medal to for being hilarious and a like feels like not enough.
Would love a like and dislike button, lol. As well as maybe some Facebook buttons like hug, love ,etc.
Rather that adding something in addition to likes, I'd suggest making the cost of a "like" some small fee -- like 10 or 25 cents. Maybe offer a discount based on membership level. Supporting members get to hand out free likes as a perk? Might be also fun to track how much money users have earned for the site via their accumulated likes. Put those likes to good use!
