Well, according to the Scarecrow, or Toto, or whatever his name is, Juwan Howard and Press Conference shouldn't even be in the same sentence.

I don't see any transcript of his press conference on Rockets.com. It only has the T-Mac press conference on the site.

I only watched a few minutes of it, but I do remember Juwan saying that YM will free up a lot of shots for everyone else.

I assume he meant to say the absence of Francis and Mobley.

    That was encouraging to watch.

I've felt we needed a banger PF, who brought more muscle to the paint, instead of Howard, but it sure sounds like they want him at that position, and don't plan to trade him away. I like the leadership he might bring. He does rebound better than Mo, and they might work well together with their history. They said that Mo has looked to Juwan as his role model, so maybe they WILL work well together. Its good that he has played backup center, which would help. I like the positives in his character and work in the community. That's good stuff, and valuable on this team.

We'll have to see. It sure sounds like they're staying with him, and just going to add a veteran PG and backup center.

So, maybe our roster will be:

Yao/Skinner or E.Thomas, or other backup
    Howard/Taylor/E.Griffin/Spoon
    JJ/Boki/A.Griffin
    TMac/Gaines/Pike
    Barry/Lue/Wilks

Those two bums went to school together. They should bring that Michigan toughness to this team...
