Pat Riley. 1st round pick (#7 overall), but didn't start a single game in his 3 years as a Rocket. What a loser!

Ty Lawson as some others have said. I was so excited when we picked him up expecting him to be the missing piece to a WCF team. Turns out he was a total chump lol.

Has to be James Frauden. After the arm hook rule he reduced to a 20ppg player

Remember when Trevor Ariza (first time around) was supposed to be our #1 option?

    Jeremy Lin for sure.

Guys like Sampson and T-mac declined because of injuries. But the Rockets bought into the Linsanity hype and gave him an awful contract.

    Number two would be Westbrook.

I'd say Westbrook, but that would be a lie since I already thought he sucked balls.

Ty Lawson is an easy choice, but I remember vividly how dudes on here were hyping up Melo as the missing piece the offense needed to get over the Warriors, some were even saying how Melo was going to be the counter to Draymond .

Even then, he was horrendous with Houston, so bad his own buddy threw him off the team.

If we're gauging the differential between expectations and results...

    1) Pippen - i thought we were getting a dynasty - we got a sh*tshow....
    2) Eddie Griffin - 3 1st rd picks... smh...
    3) Lawson - highest approval rating i've ever seen on this board for ANY move - turned into a waste of time...
    in no order...
Shandon Anderson, Royce, Stromile, Cato, Lin's return, TWill, VSpan, etc...

For myself, probably Dwight Howard and Ty Lawson. Really convinced myself they could be difference makers and we were legit contenders with them.

Around here, I think Christian Wood most recently and further back, probably D-Mo or Terrence Williams. Remember so many people thinking these guys would come in and explode.
