Astros 2023 Schedule

June 23-25 WS rematch?

 

I count 22 games in the Pacific Time zone in 2023. 28 games in 2022 in the Pacific Time zone. So I take this as a win.

 

2023 is the year we play division opponents 14? times a year rather than 19, right?

 

So Who is our NL "Natural" Rival?

 

Hopefully at least 6 of those PST games will be day games. I can stomach 10% of the games starting at 8-9pm. It’s when there’s 20+ that’s bullshit.

 

I've stopped getting so upset at PCT stars since I can't stay awake though any of them any more.

 

Should've probably been the Cardinals but I think it's the Diamondbacks.

 

I miss seeing a mariners series starting the day after playing either the Angels, A's, Diamondbacks, or Braves

 

I'm with ya. I'm sure a handful of those 22 games will be Sunday games, then we'll have one or two weekday games that are early for travel reasons.

This is what I miss most about the Astros when they were in the National League Central, so few games were on the West Coast!

 

Love the new scheduling done by MLB where you play every team every year.

 

I will miss the extra games with the As, Rangers and Angels though.

 

Is it time to have one MLB MVP and one Cy Young now that teams play everyone and there's a universal DH?

They used to switch it between Colo and AZ year-to-year (Rangers getting the other), sure they still do that.

 

I scanned the schedule looking for the H-A NL schedule and didn't see it until you assisted. I used to be good at that. Thanks.

 

Just checked, the do still rotate AZ/CO with HOU/TEX every year.

 

Can there be any less of a "rivalry" than Astros and ARI/COL?

 

Don't know about AZ, but Texans love Colorado and Coloradans HATE Texans.

 

I seem to recall it used to be that way.

 

Coloradans hate EVERYBODY. Even lovable Texans. It must be insecurity.
