Is BBarry worth it?

i'd much rather have barry than fisher but a long-term deal does scare me a bit.

 

MLE without a State Income Tax is more than 20/3 with a State Income Tax. And 3 years is very reasonable. Take it. He's a guy you won't regret having signed.

 

If the Full MLE Is worth 5.9 mill a season it cant the Rox Putting forth that Offer!!. Personaly i would'nt be Offering the Whole 5.9 to a guy who is 32 has a long History of injuries!. I can understand offering some of it, but not the Whole Amount!.

 

This is interesting from the LA Times... Sounds like the Rockets are going hard for Barry.

The Houston Rockets have made an early and aggressive move to sign free-agent guard Brent Barry and that, too, could affect the Lakers in multiple ways. The Lakers have an interest in Barry. Also, the Rockets have considered signing Fisher as a replacement for Steve Francis, who went to the Orlando Magic in the Tracy McGrady trade. The Lakers would like to keep Fisher.
