I am so confused now with YouTube tv I don’t even know which channel I am watching. Evening watching Kendrick Perkins but just now found out Stephen A has another one. Which one I was supposed to watch?
GOAT draft. Jabari was 1a as best player, Eason was the ideal pick at 17, and TyTy was worthy of consideration at 17 and some 2nds.
Where is the poll? When you edit the OP and add poll options, better be A+, A++, and A+++. And nothing else. Or imma report you.
A+ It's hard to imagine how Stone could have possibly done any better than what he pulled off tonight. The future is bright in H-Town.
A Stone got #3 - Jabari Smith (Projected to be #1) #17 - Tari Eason (Projected to possiblly go top 10) #29 - TyTy Washington (Projected to possibly go top 20) + 2 future round picks What a haul.
We all loved Stone's last draft, but lets review to see how that turned out: Jalen Green: 1st team all rookie, and most efficent of the rookie guards last year. Al-P: The Sultan of Advanced Stats, would have made an all-rookie team with better conditioning and less time lost to injuries Josh Christopher: Decent backup guard, got caught behind way too many veteran guards for me to really judge his play Garuba: But still room for improvement, Clint Capela looked like the worst player ever in 2014 and he turned into an elite role player. I don't think this year's draft is as good as last years, for the sole reason that I think Jalen Green will turn into a much better player than Jabari Smith at their respective peaks. But If last year's draft was an A+, this year's is a solid A. With 50 Stone Cold Stunners ofc.
Missing out on Paolo is a major bummer. We made all three picks and held on to EG & KJ instead of consolidating assets. With that being said, we got tremendous value for each pick. I'll give it an A-.
He nailed it. It took some cooperation from other teams, but he hit it out of the park! And that’s two in a row, in my opinion.
Rockets finally have some legit size across the board. Tired of seeing 6’4 “big men” playing the 4 and 5 (so long the days of PJ Tucker Chuck Hayes and most recently Tate playing as bigs)
He gets a C from me. He lucked into Jabari and failed to get a big man (Williams, Duren, or Kessler). I don't think Eason or Washington will turn out to be impact players for us or see much playing time next year beyond the G League.
