    @D-rock @Nook @ApacheWarrior

    Does Jabari avoid the pick and role on offense because he's just not good at it? I want to see how he catches lobs . I hope he doesn't have buttery fingers.

    For all the hype Jabari has gotten and the things he does well, he does really well… but he has some flaws in his game that are overlooked because he is an elite shooter, good in transition and a long and strong defender… he is not very good at finishing inside. He doesn’t have butter fingers, he does not handle contact inside well. It could be he doesn’t have confidence in his handle or it could be he just doesn’t like it.

    He is going to be a good man defender that will make opportune off ball plays as well. The upside is someone like Paul George as a defender. He can check top players one on one and limit them if not not stop them. He won’t make as big a difference as defenders that can stop the post though.

    Offensively he should shoot 3’s at an elite level and that makes him very valuable at his length and position. He will possibly never be more than a 18-20 point scorer if he doesn’t improve his handle and improve scoring through contact.

    A lot of people seem to think he is really developed, I don’t think he is at all. He will likely improve his handle some and get better at scoring through contact.

    He takes a lot of tough mid range shots. He isn’t efficient enough at them yet to be taking as many of them as he does. However he also makes them more than most and that matters in the playoffs.

    I see him as most likely somewhere between an above average starting forward and a #2 star on a really good team. There is a slight chance (10-15%) that he becomes a bonafide borderline #1.

    He is a good athlete but I don’t like how he moves, not terribly fluid.

    Thanks, your valuable input is much appreciated. I too have noticed that he's not very fluid. My gut feeling is that he probably avoids contact since he's on the leaner side, but he can dunk when he has an open opportunity. I'm glad he's lifting weights. I believe the workouts and interviews might be critical in determining who will go at number 1.

    In this video Jabari takes a lob as he creeps along the baseline from the
    right corner. This has me salivating as we put Jabari in the left corner 3
    and Porter-Green-JC-Wood-Sengun attack or Sengun is in the post passing
    to the weak side cutting Jabari (from left corner 3).

    (See lob dunk at 7:23 of video)

    The Captain America line comes to mind: Jabari: "I could do this all day!!"

    He is CLEARLY the #1 pick. Everyone wants the J&J connection and would instantly make the Rockets a contender, however remember we only have a 14% chance of getting this next KD prototype.

    There is no consensus number 1 pick. The best prospect with the highest upside is Chet.

    He did not look happy. Neither did Paolo. I hope he comes in with a good attitude!

    I think he's pissed because he's not getting that #1 pick money. Good for the Rockets!
