    I think Democrats would best be served just sticking to an all right ban on assault rifles. It maybe unrealistic but they take mass shootings to another level.

    Yes it already has. Cornyn walked out of the agreement. Rep will now come up with all kind of excuses for ditching a very modest agreement they agreed on.
