Cus we had Harden when we got him. Also, they didn't realize how much of a defensive liability he'd be, not to mention -- being a general sour puss.
I I'm just curious as to what would be satisfactory for you? The guy was gone after this year. No one was giving 2 first for him ever. It's delusional to th ink that not to mention post it. GMs are not stupid. This is the primary reason fans are not GMs.
I think he was looking for the whole "buy high, lose for nothing" as an alternative. It's a bold strategy, would have been interesting seeing how it played out.
The fact that we got a 1st rounder for Wood is a win. Wood thinks he's Hakeem when he's really Hasheem Thabeet with a jumper.
So wait.... We had nothing We signed and traded to get Wood AND a 1st rounder (packaged to become Sengun) Then we traded Wood for a 1st rounder. So from nothing we generated two 1st rounders. How is this bad?
Knew stone was lying out his a$$ when he said he didn't want more first round picks for this upcoming draft so he didn't trade ego or wood. Got rid of wood at any offer that involves the first round should b considered a win. We could package it with pick 17 to move up or draft a rookie who could b useful in the long run.
