    KPJ/Nix
    Jalen/JC/Queen
    Eason/Jalen Johnson/Matthews
    Jabari/Tate/KMJ
    Sengun/Garuba/Fernando
    Wall (not playing)

Probably another tank year with little veteran leadership, but who knows.

A few hours too early if you really want realistic.

Your dream roster has Wall still on the team instead of being traded?

Where's your imagination? Have some fun!

    Line-up:
    KPJ/Nix
    Jalen/JC/Queen
    Sochan or Eason/Matthews
    Sengun/KMJ/Garuba
    Holmgren/Claxton/Fernando

    Moves:
    1. Tate and #17 for #11 to pick Sochan or Eason
    2. Gordon Wood Nwaba for Westbrook, 27 and 29 1sts
    3. Westbrook and Wall bought out (Wall signs with LAL as part of deal)

I said realistic. Wall is untraceable except for Westbrook and the Lakers have already signaled they won’t trade their future picks in the trade.

In fairness you said 'realistic dream' ... so that's a little ambiguous. In your scenario you also fail to account for Wood and EG.

Ha. Yeah it is a bit of an oxymoron. I didn’t account for any moves. If this is the dream lineup that could actually happen, I was assuming it would include trading Gordon, Wood, and Nwaba. We have to get Jalen Johnson some way.

That was my assumption that they were traded in your scenario, but didn't know if they were moved for Johnson or Eason. You think they would still trade for Johnson if they get Eason in the draft? Unfortunately I think it's more realistic that Wood and EG are in the mix at least until the trade deadline.

    KPJ/Wall/Nix
    Jalen/JC/Braun
    KMJ/Queen/Matthews
    Chet/Garuba/Scola
    Duren/Sengun/Fernando

EG traded for a late first/early 2nd to grab Christian Braun
Wood and Tate + 17 traded to move up for Duren in draft
Luis Scola comes out of retirement for vet min to mentor Sengun

Play all the kids to ensure Silas gets fired and we have a legit shot at Wembanyama. Score big in FA in 2023 and make WC finals in 2024, Finals in 2025. Back to back Championships in 26 and 27.

I don't know enough about the draft to have a wish list of prospects, so I'll pass on that.

In terms of my dream roster, I'd just say I'm hoping by next season that we have traded Christian Wood, Eric Gordon, and Jae'sean Tate for good value, which means we've gotten back expiring contracts that we can cut/buyout alongside picks that won't be at the very bottom of the draft.

    With their movement, I'm hoping:
    - KJ Martin starts
    - Nix, Queen, and Garuba get playing time as part of the regular rotation from the very start of the season and not after the all star break or the G League season finishes
    - Our top pick starts day 1
    - Our later pick gets consistent playing time after a G League stint
    - If KPJ is struggling as a PG again that we don't go the entire season with him starting in that role and adjust to a wing/SF position for him

Those would be my goals for another development season.

Unrealistic dream scenario: everyone on the the team plays hard and tries to win the game when their # is called.. even if they're coming off the bench. No set closing lineup.

    KPJ/Wall
    Jalen/Gordon
    KJ/Josh Christopher
    (Jabari,Chet,Paolo IDC)/Tate
    Sengun/Wood

Situational: Matthews, (17), Nwaba, Nix, Garuba, actual coaching.

We get Jabari and someone takes Gordon/17 for like 10th or 11th or so. We get Duren. Lakers cave and take the Westbrook/Wall deal, we pick up 2058 1st round pick and buyout Russ. Fernando re-signs.

    Porter-Christopher-Nix
    Green-Mathews-Queen
    Smith-Martin-Tate
    Wood-Garuba-Nwaba
    Sengun-Duren-Fernando
