What if the team continues to lose or do not meet expectations, do you open Padora's box and ask his input then?
I think it's obvious, you want to keep him and not have him request a trade. He's only signed for 4yrs, correct? So, if you continue this trend of losing, naturally at some point he's going to want to win. Similarly to Devon Booker, there were rumors of him wanting to leave until they signed CP3 and began to win.
But in a way you will be asking for his say since you do want him 'recruiting' in the off season. Murray commented on his own Insta that Skywalker aka Thriller was going to be a real one.
And when you can't do what he wants or would like, what then? Or do you just say "hey, we'd like your input on this, but no guarantees ..."?
I think that's very wise. I think Morey totally turned over the decision making to Harden. Had we kept CP3 and continue to add pieces we could've won a Championship
I don't see the franchise doing that with Jalen. They learned their lesson from that type of culture with Harden, and the team leaked all of the Harden antics as soon as he was gone. The only way is if we are talking about 7-8 years down the line and Jalen is a top 5 player in the league and we are actually competing for a championship.
Green is my favorite Rockets Player !! But he is so far away from being a demanding force on the Management ! He can hardly even speak English! Y
What a weird ass thread. y even wonder if the Rookie will have the same amount of power that GM Lebron has/ "GM" Harden had right after his first year? gives the vibe of of those sht thread worrying about his maturity and masculinity. Way more things to worry about. R we getting rid of wood, wall, gordon? for what? who we drafting with our 2 picks? Silas is returning year 3, what r your expectations? Will sengun, green, JC hit the 2nd year wall? Is Garuba gonna shine? R we trading up on the draft? Can kpj take it to the next level at pg or will he have another tantrum? but nah.
I hope Stone will convince Patrick that a certain player is more likely to "fill in the seats" . That should be enough.
