Why would they appeal if there is nothing to hide? It's obvious the Yankees were doing something they don't want the world to know about because they keep trying to keep the letter sealed. It might not even be what we're thinking it is. Or it could be multiple things.
Per my sauces, its multiple things. Once anything is released its gonna open up a can of worms and the precious yankees will drown in sorrow, they dont want that sort of light on that scrubby team!

Doing some pandering to the NY crowd now that he's on the YES network. Why don't you ask him why he was the only one named? Maybe because he was the ring leader who told the players what he knew about other teams (Yankees) and that the Astros were behind the times.
GM makes those crazy statements now they're trying to validate the GM after making a fool of himself even among NY media. And yet they still want to appeal the opening of the letter.
I’m thinking it’s about time that Crane releases a statement calling out the Yankees for their propaganda and hypocrisy. Doubt Manfred would let it go without more punishment though…too far in the muck with the Yankee brass at this point.
Crane's been bending the knees to MLB since before he owned the team. He has never once stood up to them. He won't start now. I suspect moral cowardice and financial greed. Though that is often redundant.
Crane had to make concessions after being rule out to buy the team.... moving from NL Central to AL West for cash was a mistake. 9 pm first pitch times are not fun.
