Kyrie barely playing, Durant even more injured than Embiid, rest of roster are role players and has beens. I would have left too, will do the same at my job the moment something better comes along and no one will bat an eye.

This is absolutely correct. People can say he quit or whatever, but imagine this.

You and two other coworkers (KD, KI) are your company's most important means of production, and any sort of mistake or lag or failure to meet a goal or whatever, lies solely on you three. Since coming to this company, one of your 2 coworkers, KD, calls in sick extremely often with a legit excuse. Extremely inconvenient, but that's life. KI, on the other hand, observes many religious holidays, refuses to be vaxxed which conflicts with the company policy, and is erratic in general. Both KD and KI don't come to work consistently, leaving you as the sole worker to oversee the success of the company. Suddenly, the entirety of success is on you - you're blamed the most if the company fails to meet its goals, and you're barely credited if the company does well, since that just means you're doing your job. So you make the decision to quit or leave, since you're empowered to do so. Staying any longer would not be good for your mental health or physical health, as you're overworked and stressed out.

tl;dr - for the people that crap on Harden for quitting: you guys are obviously robots. If you've never quit a job for any reason, gotten a divorce or broken up with a significant other, never broken a vow or promise or quit at anything else in your life, then congrats. Because you're among, like, 0.001% of the history of mankind.

    Definitely and intriguing story
Jan 13th Rich Paul tries to talk Durant into a Harden - Simmons Trade
    Durant gets hurt
According to others Durant and Harden stop communicating
    Trade goes down

    But its all Hardens fault
    Intriguing

I mean, injuries are a part of basketball. If Harden doesn't recognize that then it's on him. Plus you know that your one coworker KD is better than you and will come through when it matters as he has always done in the past if he's healthy.

Kyrie I understand that this dude is a fool, he should have pushed then for the team to trade Irving. I think honestly Morey would have taken an Irving for Simmons deal...

KD would never allow the Nets to trade Kyrie…Kyrie and KD are soulmates, whereas Harden was the good friend he hadn’t seen in years

KD will pick his soulmate over his friend every time

at the end of the day, Harden trusts Morey and is more comfortable with the people already there in Philly such as Tad Brown and Michael Rubin

Embiid is playing like an MVP, and at this point, KD is more injury prone than he is…Harden and KD also did not look like a great fit when playing together this season

it’s probably also annoying as hell how KD supports Kyrie’s nonsense…it’s obvious Harden wasn’t on board with the part-time bullsh*t

Kyrie can only play in 11 of the 28 remaining games…he might not be able to play in the play-in…KD is weeks away from coming back

it was about to be Harden and a G-League squad out there for many games

What makes Kyrie look even dumber is that he’s always talking about the team needing to block out distractions and that he’s hopeful he can play in home games this year. MFer, a quick trip to Walgreens or CVS would solve both problems in 5 minutes

    This.

Harden wasn't the good friend for 10 years...He was the good friend 10 years ago.

Do you internet badasses even hear yourselves? Questioning someone’s fandom bc they don’t “show their face in the game thread” maybe we are having a beer and watching the games with real life people. Life doesn’t revolve around Internet forums. How old are you?

No doubt. It can’t always be everyone else. Where there is smoke there is fire.

Alot of Onus on Harden to keep the ship right
While the other two get to just show up at the end and get an A for the project.

Evidently not, because it’s posters on this board who act like Harden is the only pro athlete to ever go to one

His departure is a going away present for the Rockets, because those picks about to get valuable.

Don't show their face In game thread bc of u folks r having a beer and watching the games with real life people. Yet I see the same folks on here daily btching on Harden threads. Yea i call bs.

Don't have time for game threads to cheer on the rookiees like the rest of us, but has plenty of time to whine and btch like a jilted exes in harden threads
