I can usually figure this stuff out on my own or with the help of Googce, but this has me baffled.

I'm using XP Pro, and I went to set up the ICF, but for some reason I didn't have the option.

I went into control panel, opened the internet connections, right clicked on my LAN, and selected properties. However, the properties only had a general tab, and not the advanced tab where you set up the ICF.

My account is the admin account, so that shouldn't be the issue. I also tried checking out the setting on every connection listed, but got the same result.

Help? I looked around for similar problems on Google and couldn't come up with anything.

    Try this:

Go to Control Panel, Adminstrative Tools, Services.
    Look for ICF/ICS.
Right click it, and select properties.
You can start the service from there, and also have it start up all the time by choosing Automatic from the drop-down menu.

    This should work. :)
