Would you rather hold on to him and let him rot on the bench? He made a mistake (which no one bats 100) and didn't double down by paying him to sit. A rebuild takes time, lets have some patience on what comes out of all this.

So many "fans" come across like they are smarter than the FO and think making these deals are easy
    Just relax

The usual "flexibility" move for the next deadline.

I wonder if this means EG will be pretty much done for the year with his foot.

Bruno is one inch taller than Theis, so we get bigger.

The Schroder trade was way for Stone to clean up the mess he made signing Theiss. Schroder is an expiring deal, he'll be gone in the off season or sooner.

It saves a lot of money long term but does Stone get credit for putting out a fire that Stone started?

Theis was a dumb signing to begin with they are lucky to get rid of his contract.

If Schroeder plays at all for this team I'll be pissed.

There is not enough ball to go around at the moment and Schroeder will not help with that.

Can we please at some point obtain and play someone over 6'5"!

OK, this is fine. It would have been nice for Theis to be tradable for picks to some contender looking for a backup center, either now or later. But the more DNPs he racked up, the more he was going to be seen as 3 years of dead money. I'm totally okay with trading him for essentially nothing before it becomes necessary to attach picks to get rid of him for the sake of 2023 free agency.

This might have been said before but a deal like this could have been done earlier in the month...hell even at the beginning of the week. Then you would have had time to trade Schroeder to the Lakers for a couple of 2nds, actual meaningful assets.

Stone going to Miami at the last minute to unload Oladipo
Stone going to Boston at the last minute to unload Theis
