Rockets open to trading John Wall for Russell Westbrook if incentivized

So the Lakers don't want to include the 2027 FRP in a deadline trade because they want to be able to attach an additional pick with a deal this summer? That's still not going to be enough to get Lillard, but maybe Beal? Seems like a pretty bold gamble, and it's basically conceding this season.

 

IDK if a Russ + unprotected picks in 27 and 29 is going to be competitive with some of the other trade packages out there. I guess someone could force their way there.

I do think Westbrook and the LAL 27 1st Rounder gets move by tomorrow...but it won't be with the Rockets!
