    Because paying guys like Cunningham, Mercilus, Cobb and making Nick Matin one of the highest centers was a better option

    We can add Jack Billingham and Ceasar Geronimo to that group. Anybody know what was gotten in return for Wynn from the Dodgers? The Morgan/Billingham/Geronimo/Armbrister trade was the worst in Houston sports history.

    Followed closely be the Ken Houston trade.

    The problem wasn’t trading him, it was the return. Hopkins was NOT Andre Johnson in durability. He was never going to be worth $22+ million as he ages.

    One of the best ever?

    He's not even the best in this franchises history. Although I will admit he's a very good WR.

    Im no Matt schaub fan but he was better than any qb Hop had until DW4. Hop played with a washed schaub and a bunch of dog crap after that. I think it’s closer than ppl think. And my bad didn’t know you were being sarcastic about OB.

    Hopkins only missed 2 games ever before this year. About as dependable as you can get really. Andre missed 10 by the same age in 1 less year.

    Hopkins never practiced. That was one of the issues BoB had with him, right or wrong. He was always banged up. He was having injury issues at a younger age than Andre. Andre's were not chronic, Hopkins seems to have those. Players get injured, but there are differences.
