dude, chill out. is this really that important to you?? your life's mission to have astros fans agree with you that bagwell's career hasn't been legendary, which is a subjective status anyway? relax...and let me advise you to avoid the d&d thread, entirely. unless you think your health insurance can cover a coronary well.
First, I'm not seeking the approval of Astros fans. This is about your ridiculous stance on the subject. Having a HOF career is something that may be subjective, to a point, but doing something memorable that withstands the test of time, is not. Your use of "subjective" is used as an excuse because Bagwell has done nothing remarkable that baseball fans will remember. I may come down hard on Bagwell sometimes, but in this case, I'm not. I've said a number of times that he has had a HOF career, but that's where it ends. It's a finishing touch to a good career, but it does not make his accomplishments legendary.
well my point is blah blah blah...and blah blah blah...and then blah blah blah. so blah blah blah. great..you have an opinion. that and a quarter will get you a pack of gum. i have a differing opinion. i will remember bagwell in a different light than you will. that and a quarter will get me a pack of gum. getting yourself this worked up over this "debate" is the only thing "ridiculous" i've seen here.
Man, all week long posters like Glynch and Gunn have been bebopin' and scattin' all over him. Hang in there MM.
So...umm.....how 'bout that Berkman!? He's a laugh riot, isn't he? quietly tries to get thread back on topic...
