John Wall is not a sideline coach and can contribute on the court. LOOK....we gotta put John Wall back in the game. The "sit plan" isn't paying dividends. No trade chatter, no interest from other teams. We are blowin money fast on this one fellas. HOUSTON is a city for winning. Tanking is against the city guidelines. Do your best with your best players! BTW Silas is terrible. Not a fan of the signing from day 1. and to think...JVG and TY LUE were the competition.
do ya think he would look on the Royce White fiasco... and just shake his head at those 'amateur' endeavors... lol
Gotta have the rookies play and learn behind the great tank commander. Make the rookies a little more humble and hungry off the bench while they take notes. WALL would boost our overall season record of an additional 20 wins for the season.
John Wall’s playing days here are over. They should just have him scrub the floors after each home game or be a server at Landry’s.
Imo i feel John Wall could play some minutes if they want to win some games. He can lead the offense which could benefit the flow of the team since they are now stuck with offense
Then goodbye... he clearly is not good enough to play starter minutes. And if he develops into mature man then let him play. Playing now 30+min hurts his confidence more than anything. Let him run around scrubs 10min a game and develop body. Running 30+ of nba minutes a night isn't good for gaining muscle anyway
It makes no sense, there is no understanding it. Rockets are paying him money for nothing in return, so they lose. Wall has no trade interest and won't play in 2 whole years so may never actually play in the NBA again, so he loses. The rookies could use either a veteran PG or his contract value in other supplementary players, so they lose. Hell, even Silas ****ing loses because he'd have a much more capable player to run his "do whatever you like and read the floor" offense.
I honestly wouldn't mind Wall playing. Maybe he can be like a relief pitcher in baseball and play every 2-3 games. We need a decent tank commander.
It amazes me everytime House steps on the court that he gets major playing time and our 44 million dollar star gets to watch in his street clothes. Management/coaching of this team is truly embarrassingly bad. We are the laughingstocks of pro sports. Even national announcers are dumbfounded by our stupidity. 1-13…..guess Wall is not needed.
It's not just about blowing money, yes we are. However, he gives us a better chance of looking at least somewhat competent. He's no long term solution but at least he's better than the drivel of KPJ and Green. Now granted, that doesn't help our tanking but **** this is hard to watch.
Why win a few more meaningless games. Wait until you've locked a top pick then play him to get some interest going. If you can't trade him next off season, then you play him 2022-23. Hopefully that would generate enough interest to trade him by the deadline. If not then let him play out his contract because I do think he's a better floor leader than anyone out there today - I know that's not saying much.
Ok, I can agree with wanting out. Young team, I get it BUT wants no part of a championship level coach?? Uh, hell no!
actually in the extreme off chance you play Wall and we win a few games maybe that boosts his trade value. also it would be an easy way to bench Jalen Green without too much drama.
