Hey guys just wondering if anyone is going to be watching the fights tonight. I know it's De La Hoya and Hopkins versus some scrubs but hey it's got greater implications if they loose their belts.

Anyways we are showing the fight here at Live so if anyone wants to come by and watch it. We have a $10 cover for the fight but if you say your from clutchcity we will let you in for $5.

Frankly i think there won't be any upsets in either fight.

Hold on. De La Hoya does not have a belt, at least yet. Felix Sturm is the WBO champion...

Sturm was much better. They will announce the decision in a second. It would be a travesty if Sturm does not win.

This decision shows that boxing is fixed.

Even the interview afterwards is fixed. They all have a stake in it, Hopkins as well as HBO. RIDICULOUS.

You can read in De La Hoya's face afterwards that he KNOWS HE LOST.

This is a prime example of how corrupt and fixed boxing is.

Ringside stats showed Sturm landing 234 of 541 punches to 188 of 792 for De La Hoya.

``Everyone knows I win this fight,'' Sturm said. ``I am the true champion. He got the win because he's a big name.''

    'nuff said.

Everyone knew before they wanted that De La Hoya vs. Hopkins fight so they would get a big payday.

HBO should be embarrassed, De La Hoya should be embarrassed, Hopkins should be embarrassed to come out saying De La Hoya won his fight.

*throws his hands up...and says hey it's boxing*...I knew the unkown fighter coming in a upsetting the great Oscar De La Hoya. Well come September 18th you won't need judges because Hopkins stops him after 10.

Can you imagine the money 'they' would have lost if De La Hoya didn't win that fight? The fix is definitely in - you almost have to feel sorry for the absolute beating De La Hoya will endure vs. Hopkins. Ugly.

I watched the Hopkins fight also, and I am pretty sure that Sturm would beat Hopkins as well - that is, if it is judged fair and square and not by 3 judges from Las Vegas who seem to have been paid off, which is what happened today.

"His white trunks stained red from blood flowing from inside his nose and on the bridge of his nose, De La Hoya seemed to tire as the rounds went on, much like he did in fights against Mosley and Felix Trinidad.

De La Hoya, looking pudgy at a weight 30 pounds heavier than when he began his pro career after winning a gold medal in the 1992 Olympics, seemed to tire in the middle rounds while the 25-year-old Sturm, a 2000 Olympian for Germany, remained fresh.

Hopkins knocked Allen down in the seventh round, but spent much of the fight posing with his southpaw opponent, much to the displeasure of the crowd at the MGM Grand hotel-casino, which booed both fighters throughout the fight.

"For this fight I was more nervous than usual because there was so much on the line," Hopkins said. "I was more cautious because I wanted everything to go perfectly."

Hopkins said he didn't want to do anything to derail the September fight with De La Hoya, which will be the biggest payday of his career.

"There's $10 million waiting for me if I win and De La Hoya wins," he said. "All of this on the line and all it would take is one shot."'

    Fix

I think this says it all.

That's stretching it right there. Hopkins is a natural 160 pounder, De La Hoya isn't.

I saw this and the German kicked his azz, consistently throughout the fight...We were all sitting around and couldn't believe how the judges unanimously choose DLH...

I keep trying to defend the sport, but I can't...This was totally fixed so they could have a huge payday...

De La Hoya looked like a fatbody out there. He was not nearly as fit looking as he used to be and he even had some love handles. De La Hoya should go back down in weight or else Hopkins is going to kill him.
