He was trying really hard on defense tonight and I thought he looked good. He needs the ball in his hands more on offense. He’s going to be special.
We only play him 25 mins and have 11 shots. Being shooting guard, that’s not enough to develop as great player.
The experiments hardly begun, we didn’t draft Jalen to be a star this season we drafted him to be a star 3-4 years from now
People are busy praising the players who did well rather than focusing on another mediocre outing from our 2nd best rookie.
Thats the Jordan-esque type dunks I'm looking forward to seeing. I want Green to emulate the cradle dunk of Jordan. He had a couple chances in game one to do the cradle dunk. If he can go between the legs and dunk he can do the cradle jam hard dunk.
No. In the @tinman post above in #281..... Ackerman clearly is in shock as all of us were Refs were not nearly as bad as the first game.....but missed this call. according to NBA.com Splits-Advanced Jalen Green............ORtg.........DRtg Road (1 game):......87.5..........137.0 Home (1 game):.107.3.........84.2 Total (2 games):....96.1.........113.8 DRtg _________________ Mobley has been pretty bad with DRtg after 2 games: 122 4 DRtg 130.2 DRtg (Road) 112.9 DRtg (Home) https://www.nba.com/stats/player/1630596/advanced/ Let's not judge too early anti-Green group. Green is progressing
Wait I thought we drafted him to be the Franchise player on a championship team and rookie of the year is the low bar? At least that's what people kept saying in the debate against Mobley.
If Green doesn’t finish close to RotY voting, I’ll get concerned. I saw green vs Mobley as a Booker vs Towns situation. The latter was great from the start and the former had the higher ceiling. I want him to spend this year expanding his game, crazy dunks, no-look passes, running the offense. We don’t have to win this year so I’m all for it.
