If people stopped trying to make Simmons a point whatever the kid would be spectacular.
    Just power forward or center.

When you say people, do you mean Ben Simmons the person, because he does not want to play PF or Center. He wants his own team to run as the main ball handler. He has not shown the ability to take instruction or work on his weaknesses. No way I want him on the team.

Ben Simmons wants his own team.

I think he will be gone from the League and get blackballed after this 4 year Deal.

NBA Owners and Players won't want him or play with him.

Do you recall how Lucas saved Porter's life, his words?

Porters shot also improved this season.

Sengun was just drafted, give Lucas a little bit of time. He may be a saint but he doesnt just snap his fingers and everyone is better. There is a time element.

As for Nwaba, his 3ball also looks better thus far.

Wood promised to have his FT buttoned down by regular season, so you dont have to wait long to renew your attacks on him.

I assume you have no problem with his 3ball though amirite?

How CF cannot see how much better Simmons is compared to Theis is unbelievable.

Simmons on this Rockets team would be dynamic.

For sure the pace, rebounding, ball movement AND defense would DRAMATICALLY improve.

CF go gaga over Sengun's passing but poopoo on Simmons?

How about a team full of points?

Simmons at point FORWARD, Sengun at point CENTER, Scoot at point GUARD, Green at point SHOOTING GUARD.

Everyone in lineup can pass and handle, how revolutionary is that?

What is harm of Simmons sharing point duties with Porter?

Simmons is the better passer in transition and Porter is already deferring to Green when he is blitzed or played tight.

Simmons is hands down better playmaker than Green. Simmons is a top 10 PG for Heaven's sake.

If I were to try to trade for Simmons. If I was failing to make progress. I would bring up the fact that the player you traded our 1st round pick for made fraudulent medical claims. Your legacy in Houston and overall is heading in the wrong direction have some guts and do a deal that is not one sided. That mind set cost your buddy Danny Ainge to retire.

At this point, John Wall is looking better and better to Philly now. Wall and Gordon for Ben Simmons and others….

No one thought Harden could improve as much as he did when Rockets first traded for him.

I even remember a very vociferous but small contingent that did NOT want to trade for Harden because Rockets were rebuilding through draft.

    Crazy.

The goal for draft picks is for them to play at All Star level.

Simmons is already a multiple All Star and DPOY candidate.

hahaha. T-Will? I doubt that’s gonna move him.
What amazes me is that we got T-Will for a FRP, while KPJ cost nothing…

I have no doubt Simmons would do well In our system.

    PnR Ball Handlers: Green/Porter/Josh Christopher/Simmons

The Weave/Hand Off's Near top of the Key: Green/Porter/Josh Christopher/Tate
    Wood/Theis/
    Simmons

PnR Roll Man: Theis /Sengun/Garuba/Wood/Simmons /
    Tate 84% ( NBA percentile 20/21) / Kenyon 90% (NBA percentile 20/21)

    Slashers/Cutters: Green/Porter/Theis/Sengun/Garuba/Josh Christopher/
    Tate/ Kenyon/
    Simmons

Dunker Spot (behind rim along baseline): Garuba / Simmons

    Post Ups: Sengun

Isolations: Green / Porter jr / Josh Christopher / Sengun / Wood /
Simmons (81.8 NBA percentile in 20/21 and 75.3 NBA percentile in 19/20)

    Catch-n-Shoot 3's:
    House: 34.6% (20/21).....36.5% (19/20 )
    Nwaba: 28.8% (20/21)....42.9% (19/20)
    Theis: 33.8% (20/21).......34.4% (Boston 19/20)
    EGo: 32.8% (20/21)
    Tate: 30.9% (20/21)
    Kenyon: 37.5% (20/21)
    K Porter jr: 33.3% (20/21)......40.7% (19/20)
    Augustin: 42.1% (20/21)........41.6% (19/20)
    Armoni Brooks ???

    If Silas had:
Porzingis (93.3 NBA percentile as a cutter in 19/20)
Kleber (69.2 NBA percentile as a cutter in 19/20)
Doncic (82.8 NBA percentile as a cutter in 19/20)
Marjanovic (98.2 NBA percentile as a cutter in 19/20)
Delon Wright (79.0 NBA percentile as a cutter in 19/20)
Willie Cauley-Stein (77.1 NBA percentile as a cutter in 19/20)

If WCS can do so well as a Cutter, then i would expect Simmons to flourish as well.

Hardaway (77.4 NBA percentile as a Roll Man in 19/20)

Dwight Powell (86.6 NBA percentile as a Roll Man in 19/20)
Porzingis (65.4 NBA percentile as a Roll Man in 19/20)

If Dwight Powell can do so well as a Roll Man, then I feel Simmons can
    flourish as well.

I know, I've heard Simmons has regressed as a player stat-wise.......but did Seth Curry
    as well?

    Seth Curry was
88.7 in NBA percentile (with 23.2% Freq) in 19/20 (with Dallas)
    [but dropped to]
67.3 in NBA percentile (with 24.6% Freq) in 20/21 (with Philly).

Or maybe Doc Rivers just sucks as a coach. Yeah the same guy that was run off
    from the L.A. Clippers recently.

Honestly D-rock, I don't believe the negativity over bringing in Simmons has anything
to do with his salary, FT's, lack of shooting 3's......and more to do with Sengun.

Sengun is the D-Mo of today's CF's. Members here want Sengun to get all the touches
and then after the game, touch them all over.

CF's would probably try blocking Jokic from coming to Houston.
    And Jokic can shoot 3's
and hit FT's. Just excuses. Same people
telling me accumulate talent are saying don't bring in players that
may threaten Sengun's bigger role/future with the Rockets.

We should say no Simmons we already suck at the free throw line.
We would probably be historically bad adding him

Correction: Simmons isolations in 20/21 was 74.1. Doncic was 81.8.

And from yesterday: Torrey Craig was drafted by Denver 17/18.

Yes Simmons is better that Theis. I don’t recall anyone saying that Theis is better. Simmons at Theis’ contract would be a no-brainer. Simmons on his current contract is a no-brainer not to have.

The ONLY reason Simmons is not an every year all-star is because he is playing out of position….PERIOD!!!!! You play him at power forward or center and he is a superstar. Basically Gia with a worse three pointer, which isn’t a deal breaker when you think Gia is the MVP. Rockets need to give up House, 3 picks, and make this deal.
