The Cougars righted the ship and looked good down the stretch. Props to them and Dana.

How many sacks did the defense end up with? The stats show Tulane QB 16 carries for -48 yards. Seems like at least 10-12 of those were sacks. Other than a terrible 2nd quarter and a questionable call to go for it on 4th and 1 on our own 29 I thought we had a good night. Liked the way our defense and running game took total control late in the game.

The number of hurries and knockdowns has to be ridiculous. Especially in the 2nd half.

The announcers were saying 7 and the screen graphic showed that as well.

I wonder what Tilman told Holgo for this sudden change of trajectory to happen

I’ve seen every game, and I still don’t know what to think of Houston. I just can’t figure them out. Pretty nice game overall tonight, but they can be better still.

There's a chance we accidentally end up 12-1 with two top 20 wins. I haven't seen this much unintentional success since Mr. MaGoo's A wrinkle in time episode.

Doesn’t “feel” like a 5-1 team, but it is 5-1. Credit where credit is due. The best start in Holgorsen’s time in Houston as HC? I am...happy about it?

Looking at SMU looks like they've played a lot of bad teams and TCU. Are they good or just weak schedule?

LaTech's not a bad team: lost by a TD @ NCSt and by 1 @ MissSt

No idea what UH's run defense is like, but SMU ran all over TCU in the part of the game I watched.
