Yeah, underweight bigs can cause fans to come down with BCS or Bruno Caboclo Syndrome, where fans fall in love with potential.

I may be being too hard on him and he may start hitting his stride in one to two years. Him training with Adams is actually great to help prep him for very strong traditional bigs.

Or he may bust lol, you never know.

if you believe we will be bad enough to earn another top 5 pick in 2022, then it doesn't really matter if mobley ends up better than green.

next year's class is loaded with bigs. Chet, banchero, Duran, nzosa, Jovic. Stone could have been thinking of both drafts. if you take mobley now, the chances of pairing him with a guard like hardy next year are slim. the pairing of him and another big isn't a great build for the modern nba. get the alpha scorer now, and get the big next year and you have great balance.

 

Based on what we said about him being a generational talent from the get go.

 

But did he get 18 points in one quarter like Bones Hyland?

Green and Mobley will forever be linked together as those were our top two draft targets. It's fun to keep track of such players. Wishing Mobley a healthy and awesome career, although selfishly I'm hoping it's not quite as brilliant as Jalen's journey here in Houston.
