I legitimately watch 0 of these and it would be nice if people discussed them but did not get emotional about them.

Green is definitely not 6’3” based on his height relative to the basket and the other players. Steve Francis was 6’3” and green is legit 6’6”. If you’ve watched basketball for a while you should easily be able to discern the players heights.

I literally laughed out loud. Thanks for that.

He’s a “legit” 6’6” huh? This conviction must mean you’ve obviously met him? Measured him yourself? Seen him in person maybe? As a person who’s been 6’3” since 16 years of age I know a legit 6’6” and someone around my height when I see it. JG is not a legit 6’6” - it’s fine - doesn’t take away from his skill or upside by any means.

And Steve Francis, was 6’2”, I’ve met him, my brother played with him in college. The NBA “listed” him at 6’3, which isn’t true - but you’d be able to discern player heights if you watched basketball for a while.

Lol okay genius you come make a foolish argument and say someone is 3 inches shorter than his real height then want to point out a 1 inch height difference? Way to split hairs after being way off in your original argument. #Lame

Hilarious. “I’m tall, which obviously means I’m a savant when it comes to determining height.”

The ignore function makes these threads very odd but a bit fun to read. I have this moron muted, so I just see people responding to someone telling him he’s a moron. It’s fun to guess who it is and what idiocy they are spouting now!

Green does not look 6’6, unless you’re measuring to the top of his hair. I doubt he’s more than an inch taller than Dwayne Wade, who was listed at 6’4.

    i agree

I know Tmac has a love Hate relationship here with quite a few rockets fans some his fault some not.

but ya he was a bonafide top 5 player in the NBA when we traded for him from Orlando.

I stick by my shooting that Green is a better shooter but I’m with u that’s prob a lot to do with the era and the three ball being more prevalent then even 15 years ago in Tmacs era.

if Green turns into a HOF talent like Tmac I’m with it but I don’t think their games are similar at all.

Tmac could legit run point I don’t ever see that from green I’m not even gonna get into the height wingspan and defense that’s in Tmacs favor.

I do think green is plenty athletic he’s a high flyer and gets to the hoop fast but his handle is not their.

He does know how to make the right reads but he’s going to have to really add weight and get his ball handling up if he wants to be a true mvp level player.

I think he can def avg 20 a game on good shooting splits in his prime but be the focal point of and offense I’m not sure from the little Iv seen of him.

very talented tho and I love his shooting it’s money coming off screens for catch and shoot.

I see more true superstar MVP level skills in kpj so far but he’s been in the league for 2 years now. That kid can handle the rock get in the paint get his own shot and legit create for others at a 6’4-6’5 height and he’s super athletic.

KPJ can really be as good as he wants it’s up to him.

I wasn’t sure how the two of them would fit next to each other but after watching green for a 2 games and half it’s clear he’s not a guy atleast yet that can bring The ball up the court. just not his game but it does mesh in theory with kpj if he stays like this but obviously improves on what he’s good at which is scoring and shooting.

They both need to get way better on defense but they have the athleticism to make it happen so let’s hope.

What's the point of even arguing semantics about a player's height? We already drafted him. Doesn't matter if he's 5'4'' or 7'6'', at this point.

I agree with your thoughts on k p I'm in the minority here because everybody loves green but I think kp
Is a better player all around

I'm also in the minority here but I think green is a diva I see signs early on that could be a problem when his rookie contract is up

So if I had to pick one player to keep it wud be kp over green

    However sengun is close second

The media keeps hyping about green but I honestly think he's our third best player behind sengun and kp

TMac at 19 could play pg? Hell no. He was a defensive specialist wing when he was 19.

You people are comparing prime matured versions of superstars to a 19 year old. Come on for goodness sakes. TMac and Kobe and MJ's handles were no where near as refined as their prime version when they were below 20 years of age.

You would be the only hypothetical GM to think KPJ is a better prospect than Green. KPJ has 2 years of refinment under his belt in the NBA.

30/30 NBA GMs would chose Green over KPJ or Sengun to build around. That should provide some awareness of how left field your opinion is.
