    Can't the Grizz just change their name?

    Granted, the Jazz and the Lakers kept their names and seldom do we question them. But a new name for a new identity seems best.

    Their current logo (claw on ball) is awesome why whould they change it?

    The proposed logo looks like a Chicago Bulls rip off.

    looks like a normal logo to me...something this franchise with little identity could find itself still using some 20 years from now. being able to survive trends is a good thing. just ask the rockets.

    It's not really bad, but it is plain. I like their current one a lot better. The Bear is much more fierce and love the claws! The smokey the bear reference above is right on! I really dont see this as an upgrade. I guess the new trend is to lower key logos to make them more timeless? That is the only reason I can think as to why they would change their logo.
