    He was the other player from Seattle in the trade. He actually started out as their closer at the first of the year. We will have 4 relievers with at least 7 games experience closing this season. And three were closers for their team last week.

    Pressly 18 saves
    Garcia 15 saves
    Graveman 10 saves
    Montero 7 saves

    That's 50 total saves THIS SEASON and we have another 5 saves scattered among our other relievers. (Raley 2, Stanek, Abreu and Javier)

    We're probably about 2 weeks away from knowing for sure. It would likely take Verlander at least a month of "spring training" work to get ready and then he would need to play in some regular season games so he'd need to be ready by mid-September.
