    There's gonna be a lot of takes on Biles puling out of the team competition. A microphone caught her saying "I can't get up there." On the one hand I can't imagine the pressure she feels to carry this team in a high profile sport during her last Olympics. On the other, she willingly advertised herself as the GOAT with her uniform decoration. It's a hard contrast to reconcile.

    As someone who only watches gymnastics for about an hour ever 4 years, my understanding is there’s no one even remotely close to her level. GOAT is undisputed, she hasn’t lost in like 8 years I believe. Not sure why she pulled out though. I read recently she’s in a ton of pain everytime she performs so that could be it.

    No one close to her difficulty level at all.
    If she did pull out because she was “rattled” after a bad vault. Reputation will take a hit.

    I mean, what is next Lebron bailing out in the playoffs?

    Pressure is part of sports, that is what makes the great, great - I get that some feel that pressure is overwhelming, but that seems more of a one off, from people suffering from Anxiety etc.

    Biles has been at the top for 10 years - and she bails now? I mean if she felt all that pressure, why even go?

    Just seems fishy......and I hope she recovers, but you can't be the greatest ever if you bail out because of pressure.
