[2017] Best Web Host?

    I have all of my stuff on Hostgator but it has turned into a sleezy money-grubbing dirtbag company.

    Google searches just give me fake reviews with the 'best' hosts being the sites that pay the best referral fees.

    Anyone here have some solid input? I need a good robust web host that won't try to bend me over at every turn.

    By the way, EIG (Endurance International Group) is the parent to most of the scumbag hosting companies out there.

    Hostgator pulled this Sitelock scam on a friend of mine. His business website was down for weeks while we sorted it out. I ended up jumping on chat and dropping the L word and they had a backup restored within 5 minutes.

    What hosting did you find?

    My HostGator account is up in a month
    The increase in price to 9.95/month - this is quite a bit
    So
    I think I will be moving to a new hosting company

    Which are good ones?
