    Just found out Waiting to exhale is gonna be turned into a series, I will not watch but thought it was actually a good idea for a series, they have a lot of stuff to explore and a willing audience.

    Some of my favorite movies that I would like to see expanded upon and done with care.

    Mad Max kind of like Walking Dead but with a purpose and not so miserable. Stakes should be as high.

    Minority Report as a weekly procedural.

    Would love a good Batman if it was cross betweeteen Dark Knight and the original campy Batman is there such a thing as dark camp?

    I am fine with the Alien series.

    Godfather got worse in quality with more and more films, that is the case with most movies.

    • Ready Player One: The movie was a very good movie on it's own but if you read the book you know that they skipped a ton of material to squeeze it in to a two hour frame. It needs to be a 6-10 hour epic miniseries. One of my favorite books, by the way.

    • Conan the Barbarian: Robert E. Howard's gritty character deserves a true translation (let's not talk about the terrible 90's show).

    • Cool as Ice: Who doesn't want to see Vanilla Ice on a weekly basis?

    Apparently there was already as short lived Ferris Bueller TV Series (had a very young Jennifer Aniston): https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ferris_Bueller_(TV_series)

    A more successful "Ferris Bueller" show was this obvious rip off: Parker Lewis Can't Lose

    The matrix universe on a smaller scale. It'd be like Black Mirror with a show runner

    Topic would prob work better with flawed or disappointing movies. Waterworld TV series would be interesting but I'm thinking it'd have appeal of a waterbed and also the heavy costs...
