    Most of Hati's issues have to do with the fact that every other country has conspired to screw them since they were founded. Every country that they did business with after the revolution especially France and the USA were invested in making sure the uppity slaves didnt succeed or thrive.

    Highly recomend Revolutions podcast season 4 on Haiti.

    That's true but they themselves also gave into the usual problems of corruption and mismanagement. Also even when the rest of the World has tried to help the results haven't been good. For example all of the donated clothes destroyed Haiti's own clothing industry.

    Almost everything that could go wrong with Haiti has gone wrong.
