Jordan also praised Olajuwon greatly saying he would pick him as his all time center. This is the opposite of that. Maybe, he needs to be reminded that Olajuwon blocked the **** out of him and prevented his Chicago Bulls from winning the game against our beloved Houston Rockets.

LOL. Sounds like the argument many posters make on here in the "guard v. big man" debate.

In a Jordan kind of way, I take this as a compliment.

Nah. I think he's just saying Dream was unlike other centers in the way he moved.

Center who moves like a wing.

Hmmmm - wonder if we can get on of those in this draft?

This is almost like Mike D’Antoni who really likes to play small forwards at center

This is exactly why Small Forwards and guards are they only atheletes who benefit from Dream's tutelage. Kobe and Lebron benefited immeasurably from Olajuwon, while centers couldn't even figure out the footwork.

Damn right he liked Olajuwon - probably made A LOT of money betting on Hakeem's games while Jordan was "retired".

I think this is the important point. Jordan wasn't dissing Hakeem here but more like stating his footwork was absurd for a center. Definitely agree with you that LeBron and Kobe are by far the only ones that benefited from his training because a typical big guy can't even touch Olajuwon's footwork, I'd go further and state he's closer to a guard with that quickness. Come to think of it I typically only mention kobe/lebron at his camp because the other guys.... Yeah... I'm not saying he can't help teach the game but that footwork was ridiculous.

A traditional center definitely can't be taught that, maybe unless they're not in the league yet... But You'd probably be better off finding a tall soccer player to mimic his footwork.
