Rockets in 2018 had a historically high offensive rating and more importantly point differential. Once Paul went down it was sweet dreams.
iono brehs.... this finals series... just feels different without rachel nichols covering the sidelines.
they both did much better without yannis playing in theses playoffs...i feel bucks as a team play much better without yannis...he throws them off of their rhythm
it sure looks like it. But they've been playing together for seasons, nine seasons for Middleton in particular. At this point, this excuse cannot be valid anymore IMO, at best you can point to some coaching flaws. It is what it is.
and last year lakers dont win if rockets were fully healthy and not missing players due to covid protocol or blazers lillard was healthy or miami heat who 2 starters were injured you acting as cp3 wasnt injured and missing games vs clippers and lakers?...making plays with 1 hand....like their numerous role players werent injured? payne, craig, saric all missing games to injuries? their rings will be as legit as it gets I guess what is bothering most people imho is there are no big names on this roster... paper tigers who get carried by the refs and media, overhyped guys like steph , kawhi and durant, lebron, AD are not here and thats why this championship looks weak... the irony is these guys never won anything without refs help, multiple allstars teams and considerable luck injury... and suns legit dominated these playoffs on the court, with smart and beautiful play and everybody stepping up DESPITE injuries, not because of them
lol. Can you please list those skills and abilities? Also, how come Giannis never gets put on the best offensive player? Very strange for someone who's such a 'good defensive player'. No?
He's not the issue? Your best player being a liability on the free throw line isn't an issue? Especially when you're shooting 20 free throws a game? Your best player being a liability on the offensive side of the ball in any situation that isn't a fast break or a straight line drive to the ring? That actually sounds like a huge liability to me. As evidenced by two embarrassing choke jobs the past two playoffs... and seemingly going to be a perfect 3 for 3.
There'd be maybe one coach in the league who'd choose to have Giannis over Jokic. And I say maybe because Coach Bud would be very torn.
he dominated hawks ...and imho played more in the paint instead of being spacer for yannis...yannis statpading is messing up bucks team chemistry and errybody getting into rhythm...jrue is a diferent player when hes allowed to ballhog
Giannis wouldn't have even sniffed the Finals if he wasn't carried by these two for plenty of games. I don't seem to recall that many alpha dogs needing to be carried so often.
cp3 + booker>>>>>>>>>>>steph + klay and people say this is the weakest champions in a while lololololol
I give him the benefit of doubt because he was so poor in his teens that he couldn't improve his handles and shooting but worry about food and his family. Youngins should definitely foster fundamentals and shooting. Ben Simmons got no excuses for not shooting well, he seemed privileged.
same here, until i started paying attention to officiating and realized this is just one ref who makes more mistakes than 2
