So I've heard that Garcia hits the ball farthest in practice... They said the same thing about Tony Eusebio and his ass hardly ever hit it past the infield... Lol
Sometimes I really miss AJ. This decisions on a micro scale seem like no big deal but in the aggregate it becomes the difference in a lot of these close games. Pulling starters too early, not utilizing the bench, etc. '22 should be Joe Espada's time. At least I desperately hope so.
Especially when it's a critical scoring situation. My guess is that Dusty does not trust Castro behind the plate in late inning situations. But, if you don't go to him in these situations, then are the Astros even playing the better percentages? Bases loaded an no hits is somewhat deflating.
Almost as many pages here as the entire Baltimore series last week. shows you the posting habits of certain posters…
But the thing is, Castro is just fine defensively. He's not Maldy but he's solid. It's just bad managing.
And if he didn't pull Greinke when he did, the Astros likely would have won this game. They have a six man rotation for god sakes, let the HOF pitcher pitch. Just horrendous. I'm tired of it.
That’s fine… but where do they go when things are good? it’s been pretty good around here… does that lead to some people forgetting their passwords? Probably.
