My wife's company (a large, tsable powerhouse) is hiring like crazy in Houston so I thought I would submit a little notice here. My motivation is that she gets a large referral bonus for new hires (a part of which we could share with any successful hiree).

So, java developers, testers, etc. who are mid-level as far as career/experience goes, you can email me and I will tell you the company, etc.. Can't guarantee anything, but she has a decent amount of weight within...meaning she will also most likely interview you.

any hardware or sysadmin work? or just developers?

probably a moot point since my career experience probably wouldnt be in the middle range, even though my ability and knowledge rating is off the chart. ;)

Sounds interesting, though my experience isn't quite at the mid-range either.... any entry-level type positions?

Yeah, I have a friend who could send a resume if there are tech/network spots open.

    2k & stack,

Yes, depending on experience, of course.

Are these contract positions or full time opportunities? Do they need people that know software distribution (SMS, etc.), software integration (Wise, Installshield, etc.), and/or VBScripting? If so, I know lots of very good people with these skills, including myself of course ;)

We would love to get back to H-town.

I'm going to piggyback this thread.

If you guys post what you do and how many years of experience, I run across jobs all the time. I have a pretty good memory, so the next time one comes up, it'll set off a trigger, and I'll notify accordingly.

This past Monday, I was asked for an experienced SAP programmer (10 yrs+), and a HP-UX admin (5 yrs+).
