WTF is this??? How does the ump go from calling balls 4" off the plate strikes to calling balls thrown completely in the zone balls in the same f***ing inning??? our pitchers are pitching to a zone about 15% smaller than the A's at this point.
They always do unless they don't. Dude, shut the **** up. I don't care if you're right or wrong, that's a proper douchebag move.
This is a game we shouldn’t have lost. And a game the As shouldn’t have won. Shitty bullpen and egregiously bad HPU. Oh well, win the next 2
He wasn’t going to throw him out... but the fact that he doesn’t know how to go back on the ball to get his legs behind the play for a possible throw, speaks volumes to his lack of natural OF instincts.
Well it was obvious this was a loss for a while tonight. Same old crap just not capitalizing on opportunities. Oakland does not need as many opportunities as we do. They cash in when they need to, the Astros are not consistent like that. Oakland is better. Hopefully not all season.
This A’s team doesn’t scare me...but our current bullpen situation does. Hope the bullpen gets straight soon.
Biggest question mark was decision to use Enoli right then/there. He’s excitable, he’s wild, and his road appearances have all been virtually identical all season. Not exactly trustworthy in high leverage situations just yet (not that anybody else he called on did that much better...)
It’d be great if the $300 Million Dollar shortstop could get a hit with RISP, but I guess that’s too much to ask.
