    The Wire is that good? I still haven't watched an episode through. But I've seen every season of Snowfall thus far.

    I enjoy Snowfall a lot, but there's a level difference in writing, dialog, and plot. Snowfall falls into some tried and true devices that I don't hate, but I recognize as convenient. The Wire is thoughtful on a level that is rare to find in crime/police/drug dramas.
