Wondering if the Astros are really that good, or the A's really that bad (which ESPN thinks)...Can't wait to watch the Astros against other opponents
Correa moved down to 6th. In this lineup the 6/7 spot is the real clean-up spot behind all the other all-stars.
Unless their pitching just went to crap over the last season, I would say the Astros are that good. It's not like the players on this squad wasn't part of a historically good offensive team. Everyone other than Bregman are hitting near where they've hit before. Altuve actually has another gear. They are just doing it at the same time.
I am curious as to what the poster meant when he said "everyone other than Bregman is hitting near where they usually do". Clearly others are over performing so his comment seemed odd.
I don’t know how they will do it, whether it’s skipping starts or cutting him back to 3-4 innings a start, but Lance innings are going to be monitored pretty close. Even if everyone is healthy, there will be starts available for more than 5 guys
I think his ops is only like 1060 rn. Which would be about on par with 2019 Edit: Sorry I read it as Bregman not Brantley lol
