I think some of this has to do with his ankle isn't 100%.

I'm kind of liking DJ Wilson as a backup big.

KJ played a few mins at the 3. I would like to see more of this off of the bench. If the Rockets want to tank play Bradley big mins.

 

He's right if you look at the picks set by Olynyk and the ones set by Wood it is night and day. We all blamed Wall for not being able to run a pick and roll with Wood properly but a lot of that is on Wood himself. Our guards can barely get any separation when he sets a pick.

 

Look at the job Steve Clifford is doing with the Magic. Their games are still extremely competitive even after they blew up their squad. We looked discombobulated all year under Silas despite having more talent and veterans.

KPJ has been meh for a while now.

 

I miss Capela. Im losing confidence with Silas' gameplan. Wood and KPJ lost its hype, maybe losing that much makes the morale bad

 

Once walls back, move tate to the 3 and olynyk at the 4 and we’re gonna win games.

Fair enough. But in Wood's defense, he barely got much playing time with Harden to include him in the list.

Wall and Dipo are ball hoggers and not the best passing guards. KPJ like I said is better at SG. Defensively Wood could do a better job but overall, every Rocket is stinking on defense. Maybe it is purposely designed that way to tank, who knows.

For me, it is hard to believe that they are not trying to tank when defensively they made a complete turnaround from being one of the best defensive team for a brief period to almost dead last. Wood was very active on defense early in the season too. I believe it is more of the coach's design and less of Wood's ability. Could also be the lack of motivation considering constant losses.

I only watched the 4th quarter. The bench was in for about half of it and we had a lead. Martin was a high flying dunk fest, snagged a couple offensive rebounds and blocked a shot. We actually looked OK. The starters came back in and the Pelicans took the lead back and kept it. Our starting unit didn't impress me.
