He’s paid nearly 50M in 2022/23 and he’s an injury away from being literally unmovable. He’s been better than expected but one injury even if not incredibly serious will end any market. If someone wants him without the Rockets attaching picks, I’m totally in. If someone wants him and will give up a real asset like Achiuwa? I’m very in
Finally, some very feasible trade proposals. Love the first two above, NYK & MIL. The other two, hard pass. I'm on board with lakersuck, let's take on young guys who don't fit in their present teams future. Anyone on that list is a valuable addition. We need to fill our roster with 8 or 9 rotational players. In the beginning of this season when we put on a good little stretch, the Rockets were winning with D. That second unit with Tate, Brown, and Nwaba was fierce. We don't need or will in fact receive all star players for our damaged goods. Picks and contributors needed asap. Not sold on MPJ. To me, he has more baggage than KPJ. Can deal with his attitude, it's his back that is the concern. Worth the risk? Depends on the cost. Would rather have A Gordon. But don't think we can offer ORL what they think his worth is. Also factor in we are probably stuck with Wall for at least one more season. He and KPJ are ball dominate. Bringing in a young star looking for the spotlight could create chemistry issues. We have another rising star in Wood. Rather have a couple of 10 to 15 points a night players who understand their role. Hopefully the draft provides a future all star caliber player.
No it is not lol It is worth taking ON that contract if you are tanking and have a low total team salary with no intention of competing for the remainder of the contract
I don't think you're getting what I am saying... I mean no one is giving 3 firsts and 3 swaps for dipo and tucker even if it unloads a bad contract
You can argue Harris has a worse contract than wall... slightly less money, lesser player... If Oladipo is worth a 1 and tucker 3 2s (basically a late 1) then you're talking about a single first and swaps for harris... I wouldn't do it if im Houston so it must be a reasonable expectation...
I like these, but want less players coming in so we can sign mason to a full contract and sign lamb to 2-way...also wouldn’t mind armoni on a 2-way maybe reroute Bryn and cut Dudley so he can continue ring chasing
Like Nance a lot for Rockets but Cavs love him even more. That's why I've stopped mocking him to us a while back.
Those MPJ dreams are dying right in front of our eyes. But for old times sake: https://tradenba.com/trades/72e2D2oLI Nets: Danuel House, Dante Exum, Mason Jones Nugs: Victor Oladipo, Rodions Kurucs + Pistons FRP 76ers: PJ Tucker Rox: Michael Porter Jr, Matisse Thybulle, Spencer Dinwiddie, Bol Bol 6'5 Porter/6'5 Dinwiddie/6'3 Armoni 6'5 Thybulle/6'5 Nwaba/6'5 Sterling 6'8 Cade (draft)/6'4 Tate 6'10 MPJ/6'6 KJ 6'10 Wood/7'2 Bol Bol/6'11 Patton Trade EGo, Wall, BMac for salary relief and picks to bundle to move up and draft Cade Cunningham. Praying for a top 4 pick is not a strategy, let's just go and get him.
