No point of having a big that plays small. Giving up speed and quickness for a slow guy that can’t finish at the rim, can’t protect the paint, and shoots a bunch of 3 pointers. Kinda pointless when you think about it. We used to call that big for nothing.

At least Wood is like 6’10 and not 6’6

Eh, I think "Small ball" was tainted a 'bit with how we tried to do it the past few years. The "P.J. at center" type small ball was a horrible...horrible way to go. It can be done right, just need the right personnel.

Because “big ball” has been so amazing this year? They got rid of Jarrett Allen, and sorry to break it to u, but Boogie is a shell of himself. This team needs MAJOR work and a major infusion of high level talent...not low talent role players that hustle, but young players that actually have a chance of becoming a star

it’s time to tank with no shame

Idk, this feels like an excuse to tank.

Wake me when Wall, Oladipo, Tucker, and Gordon are gone. This is a clear message....

It may not necessarily be small ball. They got Wood who is 6'10 and then Justin Paton is 6'11.

I’d keep Wall. He likes it here, plays hard, and could lead these young dudes... then ship him off for a couple of FRP’s after a full year with MPJr. Championship 2025-2026!

    Wall isn’t a great leader.
