golf driving ranges inside the loop

There's one at Hermann park.

 

And one at Memorial. But the best option IMO is Wildcat just outside the Loop (go 3 miles south of the South Loop on Almeda and there will be signs on the right). I believe the driving range is the highest point in Harris County (it is build on an old landfill), you have a great view of downtown, Reliant Stadium and the Med Center, and best of all you hit off grass not mats. Enjoy.

Wildcat's range balls are muy expensive. $10 for around 90 balls, that's usually around $7 at a driving range.

The range at Ricmond and Old Westheimer has a 175 for $10 deal. That's enough to wear you out.

Go to the el-cheapo South Main driving range I go to, on Main Street just outside the loop...between the loop and Willowbend.

Six bucks for a HUGE bucket of balls. Shaded and non shaded areas. Mats or you can hit off the ground.

Best driving range deal in town.

 

Anyone remember the ol' driving range that used to be by Meyerland by the Walmart on Post Oak and 610? Now it's an apartment complex. I used to love hitting from that hill.

 

i loved that place..wish it was still there now that im somewhat decent at golf
